Personalmente mi Pikachu favorito es el de los concept art del juego e ilustraciones previas al anime, pero a ver, el Pikachu del anime sigue siendo aceptable a pesar de haberse estirado:

Que vale, que seguramente le venga a causa de la forma que tiene Pichu o algo, no lo sé, pero el Pikachu con cabeza óvalo es cuanto menos perturbador.
Y es que la culpa radica en que Ken Sugimori, padre del diseño de los Pokemon de la primera y segunda generación a evolucionado su estilo tanto que ha perdido su esencia inicial y ahora parece un artista completamente distinto.
Y para quien quiera gozarse las ilustraciones de la primera tirada de las Pokemon Tranding Card Game donde se aprecia el estilo original de Sugimori os las dejo a continuación.
